I purchased the car new in 07 its been a great car this just doesn't set well with me. Every time someone would raise the trunk lid you would see that. I'm sure at least one inspector saw it and said oh well. I will be writing GM a letter and sending the pictures and will see. You never know!!

I really want to hear their reply to you. But realistically, I think they'll probably ignore it since it's a vehicle that's no longer in the current line up. And it's not under factory original warranty anymore. If it was a 2010 Camaro, you'd get an answer for sure.

But please do write them and send the pictures, if you want to show it's not an isolated incident you can even include my pics too if you want. I'm really curious how they answer you.

I do have the GM extended warranty and only 2700 mile's that's right it's not a mistake 2700 mile's

I have a 1996 Lumina and a 1999 Monte. Both are taped up the same way. I hate to see the tape guy get fired just because Mel doesn't like his work. He's been taping trunk wires for at least 15 years. He might have a wife or kids to support. I wonder how many hundreds of miles of electrical tape he has wrapped. I bet he thought his job was safe after all these years.

Great job on them wires. 2700 miles? You must drive in reverse alot.
