And yet there are those who do respond to these particular notices. They get the Darwin award for fools who are easy to seperate from their money...

I this paid my 06 monte carlo off back in nov, have only 45,000 miles on my baby. So lets see now, chevrolet has no current 2 door car that i can buy, so that me and my family can go out in. My little girl will be 16 years old, were my wife & her can sit in the back seat with lots of leg room. The dealership kills me, my wife this brought a new 2012 chevy cruze off the dealership that sent the letter, we pick the cruze up in dec.Same dealer were i brought my monte. So sometime in 2015 a new monte carlo may hit the market, even if thats true the new monte would start out at around $30,000 so i guess it would not matter, as the car would be price out of sight.

I still get letters like that from the local Chevy dealer wanting to buy my Silverado that I traded in 6 months ago.

My vote, go test drive something cool then see what they would offer you on trade in. You'll learn quick if they want it or not. I was out test driving cars with my girlfriend a few weeks back. I drove a sweet '09 G8 GT told the guy that I wasn't going to buy it but he insisted on working out some numbers. They offered me $2300 for my car. I just laughed and told him to call me when they get a sweet older Volvo or Saab that they plan on wholesaling.

$2300.....unreal. I went on a website called "we buy any car" and it came up with something like $5300 for mine, maybe I should have made a deal?
