Im thinking about buying LED tail lights for my 06 ss, just wanted to hear what everyone else thought about them?

 

if you like them then i would say they are worth it...personally i like the stock taillights since they pretty much match the paint on my car

 

i like the look of them i was gunna get some smoked ones or chrome ones but at 320 a pair i dnt know lol unless you found some cheaper ones?

 

yea the price is pretty steep maybe i will just nite shade them instead.....

 

i thought about doint the same but my friend who previously had a 96 ls monte carlo nightshaded all of the lights on the rear and after awhile it turned into a chalky looking black and cracked. maybe you could get a coating over them to prevent it but i'm not sure. I've also found that searching on amazon.com there is some types of black film that are custom cut for your headlights and tail lights however i've never used those so not sure if they're any good. hope someone else has some input for you though. If you do get the aftermarket lights please post pics man.

They are a little steep. $250 would be reasonable. They do look nice though.
