Awesome job! I'm interested to find out what kind of numbers you're looking at now.

here's the pic with the fuel hose tuck down under the snout. i guess the fuel connectors in the pic is facing down more making the hose not kink.

oh i see what you mean now, couldnt see how it would work until i just looked at that. didnt know i could move the connectors i was told they have red loc tite on them for sealing. im ok with it how it looks though, just gotta clean up the wiring around the fuel logs and then it'll be complete. only thing left to do is the SS intercooler, and possibly upgrade to headers if i can find CARB exempt headers for my year. thats the toughest part. gotta love CA emissions.

First Happy Birthday!!! I don't want to be a kill joy now, but did you scan for knock yet?!?!?

Just because the kit "says" you shouldn't have any doesn't make it the case. The mods needed to run a 3.4 pulley on an L67 include: CAI, 180* Tstat, Ubend delete (downpipe), Canned PCM and Colder Spark Plugs (AutoLite 104's). Now anything after that is supposed to "garauntee" that I don't have any knock. Now I've added Headers AND Rockers and that STILL gives me 7* of knock. Anything over 5 is asking for a chipped piston.

I specifically went out and got the HP Tuners package to fix this issue. I've been reading about tuning for months and just got my wideband installed yesterday. I THINK the problem is lean condition and I hope to fix that tonight yet.

I'll step off my soapbox now but after reading that I really hope you find someone with even a LS1M scanner and just check for KR. I don't want your birthday present to turn into a blown engine.

thank you for the birthday wishes! and no, i havent scanned it yet. i went with the 3.8 pulley. i was supposed to have my dual aeroforce gauges and boost gauge installed the same day, but ran out of time to get it all done with having to bleed the coolant bubbles out and case relearn the computer. the aeroforce gauge will be able to monitor my KR.
will be getting it installed on monday coming up, but till then havent really played around with it because i dont want a blown engine. just been going back and forth to work, not really revving it over 4k.

the only problem i have is at cold starts, my idle goes up and down between 1.5k and 500 rpm for about 20 seconds, after that it idles fine at 800. any suggestions? what should i set my fuel pressure regulator to? its currently reading out at around 45.......should it be lower?

The stock setting for the L67 fuel pressure is 50psi with the vacuum hose going into the regulator unhooked. You should be seeing something like 30psi at idle then.

From what I understand, this is a common problem with the SSM90 kits and IIRC it has something to do with the way the tune is set up.
Search around clubgp a bit and you'll find some info.

I don't see any questions about this yet, so I'll ask.

I'm just wondering about the N/A 3800's stock transmission? Cause I know any '04/05 Monte that got the supercharger also got a heavy duty transmission behind the supercharger.

So what are your plans for keeping from damaging the transmission with your new toy bolted on?

the stock 4t65e should hold fine under normal conditions until 300 HP

I'm just beginning to really get into tuning. My first guess would be IAC needs to be tuned properly in the PCM. The PCM may not be expecting a blower on the vehicle or the programming may suck if you got one in the kit. Best thing is to get it retuned to your specific vehicle.
