Lets clear this up, because honestly I dont believe K+N themselves, has ANYONE installed the kit on the Monte yet? The engine bay is IDENTICAL to an Impala SS so why would it not work.

I just called K+N themselves and they said no it wont work (the guy was rude as hell too)

Just wondering if anyone has done it?

K&N says it won't work? Their website says the 57-3045 fits our cars.

I've never heard of any problems installing them on Impala's but I also don't visit Impala boards. I can't see a problem as it should fit a Grand Prix as well.

 

If you look in the list you provided, there is NO mention of a 2006 with the 5.3L V8

Yes, I have the Impala K&N kit on my 06ss and it fits like a charm, EVERYTHING is identical, it works.
