Just wanna whine and complain
I figure if there is anywhere I may find sympathy it'd be here lol There are a ton of things I wanna do to my car but can't afford anything right now.
I just bought it a few months ago and I'm the type that has to fix anything slightly off or wrong. I need 2 side emblems (no idea what happened to them)
I will have to fix the oil pressure gauge and replace bearings as I've read that when you have a traction control issue that's likely the cause. I also want to swap my spoiler. Exhaust, tint, suede interior trim ect ect.
The car looks and runs great as of right now, It doesn't NEED anything. I'm happy for that, but this waiting is frustrating. I likely won't be able to afford anything till summer... So yeah, I sound like a spoiled brat but I can't help it lol . I'm frustrated!!!!

I hear you man. My main problem is not having enough time! I'm always busy with school I never have enough time to do what I want to do to my Monte. I have plenty of good ideas and am always wanting to work on the car. But it IS frustrating not being able to. I just look forward to school breaks and summer!
No you don't. In 2004 unless you had a supercharged Monte Carlo the sides never said Monte Carlo, they only said SS.
If a bearing is bad, get the ABS code read and find out which one to replace it. Not a bad job to do yourself for around $100

I might ad, I'd recommend a Timken bearing
They are made in the U.S.A. and great quality. I've been buying them from RockAuto.com. Not the cheapest, but NOT the most expensive either.
In an economy like we have right now, it's good to support Domesticly manufactured products. End of soap box

I know how you feel. I would like to complete about 3 or 4 projects on my car too I just don't have the time or funds right now. Once its paid off I think I'll try to sock away my car payment money for a few months. I'm sure my wife wont let that happen tho.LOL Maybe some day.
I hear ya!
I always think of one thing on the list I want more than the others and then save up for that one thing, then once I have the money for it I buy it then save for the next thing.
Good luck on your modding journey, it's one of my favorite things!
