Default Interior Trim Issue...

Since rabid winters have approached northern Illinois, the heat is pretty much always on full blast. As the defrost heats up, the front vent beneath the windshield has begun to separate and rise on my '06 LT. It sort of creates an arch in the vent. I know it's kind of a vinyl meets plastic issue. Anyways, what do you guys think is the best solution? Should I simply apply some some super glue along the base or some other kind of glue to lay it back down?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I'd use something from the "Elmer's" family of adhesives. Not Crazy Glue!
Spread the glue on BOTH sides to be joined.
Have a real damp cloth to wipe any "Overflow" situation.
Use a Hair Dryer to get the Glue to cure while you "Smooth-Out" and places that need be smoothed and held in place.
You'll be able to position the piece just as you want it until the glue begins to set.
Once it begins to set ... apply light pressure to the pieces until they don't move.
Then, ... you're done.
