Default inertia switch
Does any one know if there is a inertia shut off switch on a 1999 Monte Carlo z34? If so can you tell me where?

I believe the inertia switch is more of a Ford concept. I have never heard of one on a GM. Not saying there isn't one, just I have never heard of it.

What would it do, anyway? Something to do with the airbags?

No its for the fuel pump. On some vehicles they have them if you get into an accident, It shuts off the fuel pump so the fuel wont leak all over the road.
