I haven't been back over there. He is going kind of slow at it but getting really close. The black plastic trim around it is going to be painted like the SS versions are. Should look better than that dull plastic. I may get over that way later or tomorrow. I need to take the new mounting clips to him for the side skirts. Thanks for the interest.

Very aggressive hood for that car. Hoping to see some other aggressive features added throughout the car. Can't wait to see how it turns out...

Saw the Impala tonight. He is getting there. Getting that new fiberglass hood straight is taking a lot of work. It has full of high and low spots. Maybe this weekend it will be done.

No, it isn't done yet. He is doing a really good job. He is a good friend of mine and I can't complain since he is doing a super nice job at a Maaco price...He is a real perfectionist and won't let anything slide. Should for sure be done within next 3-4 days. If I go help today, I will post up some new pics. Got the wife some new Posco paint markers so she can have her yellow letters. Should look good with the metallic black and my black rims.

Slight update. His garage was really in no condition for a paint project so he is way behind. Since I was going to drive it to Florida next week and I don't think it will be done, I gave him a couple more weeks. He hates that hood. Do not purchase one....I am sending the company an email about it, not that it will do any good.
Anyways he is even going to respray the bottom for protection purposes. As i said he is a Perfectionist.
