I went on a business trip to Boston a couple of weeks ago and I saw two Monte Carlos and one Impala at National Car Rental with no OnStar anntenas. Are the rentals available without OnStar. I would love to have mine deleted. Problematic buggy China/Taiwan electronics.

My '06 LS had it as standard equipment. My car has no options not even ABS (which I don't like either).

On another note: why does a dealer buy cars with no floor mats is beyond me. I could not even get them to through in a pair or knock $100 or the car, but they tried to cheat me out $400 saying the blue book on my 96 Beretta had a 4 cylinder, but they did not win that scam! I got the full trade-in value and they got the car with a coolant leak.

 

doesn't the radio antenna work off of that little plastic antenna on your roof too?? or if not where's the antenna? i dont see anything else where it would work

hmmm...never noticed that..i'll have to go take a look..my windows are blacked right out...and i dont think you can take that little plastic thing off the roof cuz there would be a whole there you'd think

 

I Special ordered my car without OnStar because I would never use it

 

is it cheaper without it???
