I personally just like superchargers more than turbos for some reason i dont know why.

 

I'd have a complete frame-off restoration done to my Monte. Restored to stock appearance inside and out, same color with either the Rally wheels or American Racing wire-basket wheels. BFG 235/60-15 white-lettered Radial T/A tires.
The Mods:
-VFN fiberglass stock-looking, bolt-on hood
-1973 stainless steel quarter window trim
-Factory rear window defogger
-Kenwood sound system
-Complete the factory 1973 rally gauge tach cluster with an Autometer Z-Series oil pressure gauge
-Carpet the trunk the same color as the interior carpet (Oxblood or Dark Mahogany, whichever you wanna call it)
-KYB shocks all around
-Catapult trailing arms
-G-Max rear sway bar
-Ground Zero rear coil springs
-Gilbert Chevrolet 380-horse 350 HO Super Deluxe crate engine
-Ceramic coated Headman shorty headers
-Pypes Performance dual 2.5-inch header-back exhaust with unboltable high-flow cats
-Bowtie Overdrives level 3 4-speed 700-R4 with 2500-stall converter
-Moser GM 12-bolt with an Eaton posi and 3.42 gears
-GM Performance Parts serpentine belt kit with A/C
-Vortech supercharger kit
-Rear disc brake conversion
-Gas slotter, cross-drilled front rotors

I got everything on mine that I wanted when I ordered it.

My free one year is almost up (at the end of may)
and yes I most likely will keep it too

 

Probably won't keep mine...waste of $$ to me. In this day & age of everyone having a cell phone I don't see the need for it. There are debates over the fact that in an accident Onstar still works to alert the police, fire, rescue etc. Whether this is true I don't know.

 

I like the fact that if I am having troubles with the car
Hey push the blue button
They will troubleshoot as you are going down the road.
Plus they record the info on there end as well that you had a problem with the car.
So its not just for safety......

 

That saves me a trip to the dealer or to autozone.......
since they can do it right there

Troubleshoot going down the road? Like they are able to fix it? What's the use of having someone troubleshoot it going down the road? It's not like they can repair it for you.

Look I think it's great you like and that works for you, I think it's a waste of $$$ but I'm the guy who likes OEM GM parts too. Enough said!

 

Troubleshooting won't save you a trip to the dealer or autozone either....it's simply "Troubleshooting" and in the hopes they can find the problem. They can only find the problem if a code is set as well. If all the sensors are in "range" of what's acceptable then Onstar won't find crap.
