Hi `Patrick,
You have a beautiful looking RED Monte Carlo.
Your rim's look awesome on your Monte, and I love
your mascot sitting next to you. Cute dog : ) Protection
for your Monte Carlo.
Thanks for making your MCF Album, I really enjoy
looking at member's cars.
Happy Holidays,

Thanks guys! Those floor mats go once we get the messy weather - I have two black heavy-duty ones (I think they're Husky brand or something like that). I'll be putting them in really soon...
Gonna clean up the original wheels, and get them up for sale!

They're the custom-made ones from CoverKing. Nice, fit pretty damn good. Only gripe I have is with the seat part- the back and head-rests are excellent - Only two straps (underneath from front to back); they should have one or two going under from side to side. Also, the seat portion should enclose the leather seat a bit more, on the sides. My cover shifts a bit "off" of the edges when getting in and out (of course, this only happens on the outside edge, as you're sitting down). Tightening those straps underneath does help, but having "cross-straps" would do much more for this problem...
I was lucky getting this SS; when I bought it, it only had 23,000 miles on it- so doing the math, the original owner, who was a bit on the elderly side, really didn't drive it a lot and garage-kept it (I have a good carport with sides on it)... AND, since I bought it at the end of Winter last year, with snow coming down, I was the only shopper on the lot and had a lot more control on the sale (got it for a very good price). The dealer, Bonner Chevrolet, nearby in Kingston, threw in a custom stereo that's LOADED with coolness (MP3, hidden disk, etc.), paid for tinted windows professionally done by their local shop/contractor- rear and all side windows done... I was very happy dealing with them!! They even took OFF the rear bumper where there were a few long, but not deep, scratches- painted it to match and put it back on, making the car look even better!
Good deal on a great car!

I thought those seat covers looked familiar.
I bought the custom fit seat covers from Coverking for my 99 Grand Am a couple years ago.
I never noticed any shifting of the pieces. If anything, the pieces were tight as heck. I fought with the headrest covers for 45 minutes each. That's how tight they were.

That's a nice car in those pics, Taz!!
The only thing I can think of, is that the MC's seats are kinda wide in front- it seems like they didn't actually design them quite wide enough to cover. They just wrap down the sides barelyan inch, at least on mine. Heck, if they get really bad or loose, the backs and headrests are still nice enough to keep on... so I won't complain too loudly!!
