Id like to know which subs would be better and louder please give me honest answers .! thank you.

Both are 12"x2 in box i have both but id like to know which would be louder. and better thank you

 

If you have both why not find out for yourself...?

 

Cause id have to get the amp tuned to both subs seperatly and have to re hook them up and everything so id much rather have someone who can tell by the Specs of the subs which is better and louder..

 

i have no idea, all i know is Kicker L5 and L7s are really good

 

What kind of amp do u got? That adds to the factor aswell

 

i plan on buying a diffrent amp at the moment i have a 620watt kole amp.. And a 1.250 Memphis amp.. But i just want to know depending on the subs specs which i should use than i will go about buying a new amp

 

No guarantee on this, but off the specs alone the Pioneer should be the louder sub. Pioneer is 94db & Memphis is 85db of efficiency, I would say that the Memphis would be more accurate from a sound perspective in my experience. Not sure what you have invested in the subs, I have always went with 2 - 12 like you have until the Monte where I went with a single JL 13W6 in a small enclosure. I have a Memphis 500.1 driving it and it hits lower, plays louder and clearer than the 12 I would have used. The other benefit is it only takes up 1/2 the space in the trunk.

You can find them online for around $400, run VC in parallel for a 2 ohm load.

For an overall sub, the Memphis is better. Pioneer lacks in car audio IMO.
