what i mean is the place ment of the ignition switch where the key goes. on my 7th gen it is in the steering colem wich i dont like. i like where the placement of the 6th gen key and ignition is on the dash. if there is 6th gen people like to coment on the down fall or dislike where there's is let me know as well as the 7th gen as well i like the idea of where the 6th is compared to where mine is on the steering colem

 

I like it on the dash, but I think they had too many key cylinder problems with weight there.

 

i like it is the dash because to me it looks beater and more a hay its a monte carlo

 

I much prefer it on the dash... ...The only improvement I could see would be a push button start on the dash......

I hate the way the fog setup looks on the 7th gens.

 

I like my switch on the dash. I've owned cars with it on the steering column and didn't like the placement at all.

 

I like key and ignition is on the dash, like the way it was on my 1965 Chevy II .

 

I like the ignition on the dash... it feels better to start LOL and looks better..

Me being a detailer and getting in and out of many cars and moving them and such It annoys me when there on the column sometimes because their placement sometimes is at a point where you cant even see the key hole and you trying to put a key in a whole that doesn't exist HAHA

 

lol everytime i let a buddy of mine drive my monte, they go straight to steering column to insert the key. never gets old
