If you sold your car with all of the parts on it how much would you sell it for?

I think I'd take off the easy stuff - CAI, wheels, tires, etc and replace them with the stock ones, if you still have them.I doubt if the aftermaket stuff will add any value to the car. You could probably get as much for it stock, then sell the hi-po stuff. You'll get more for it. I've always heard you can expect ten cents on the dollar for what you've spent on the car.

So, how much are you asking for the CAI? LOL

 

Corvettes are great, they run in my family's past, Both my parents had 70's vettes and my grandma even had one before them. My dad also had a 69 green camaro. Our family still has the pics and there are some good memories. Unfortunately my experiance with my first vette was good and bad, The good part cruising with the T-Top off and getting the girls, the bad thing is it was a 1994 C4 Competition yellow with 90,000 miles. You have to buy a vette with low miles and take good care of it. Mine didn't like the heat and I had $2500.00 in repair bills. It was a fun car but one night being 23 years old driving late from my girlfriend's house to home the cop in her city follwed me and called in the cop to the next small city and then they called the cops in my city and because I didn't merge in the lane properly they pulled me over. They asked me all the questions in the back and asked if I had been drinking, I said no officer I don't drink and drive, So he makes me walk a straight line, follow a pen with my eyes and then he gives me a breathalizer test and I blew it and he said that didn't work can you blow again, I guess he couldn't believe I was honest with him the whole night I blew again and it cam 0.0 no alcholol in my breath. All I was doing was going home late after spending time with my girl who was sick that night and I got harrassed that night for being young driving a nice car. I thought my own city cops would be nice, nope not a chance, I had a firebird raceway parking sticker close to my vin and he was giving me **** for not being able to see my vin number on my dash properly. He wanted to ticket me so bad But I had done nothing wrong then he told me the cop in the previous juristiction called them and told them about me being suspicious. The cop in that juristiction flashed his lights to intimidate me but I slowed down and he turned them off thats why I was suspicious for driving cautious. It was a bad experience.
But I enjoy going to cruise nights and having a fast good looking car. I will get one much later the C5 model but I will make sure it will be taken care of and have low milage.

Not to mention the amount of booty you get with a Corvette vs a Camaro.

the viper has the suspension of an 80's Mustang... its like 20 grand more than a Z-06, and for what you get.... ugh. no traction, abs was added reluctantly, an uglier car, worse handling, cheaper looking interior... but about 20 more hp and $20,000 more? why?

The Corvette Z-06 is faster than the Viper. Go on youtueb, find the topgear test of the new Viper.... the heat from the exhaust sets a piece of plastic on fire. It's not the only time I've heard of that happening. All in all, a Viper is $20,000 more for a car that is worth about $10,000 less than the Corvette.

 

I wanted a 'vette since I was a kid also. And would love to own one.

Not to be a downer or anything. But you should know that every guy that owns a Corvette gets automatically labelled as going through a mid-life crisis. Whether it's true or not.

Most of the people who say that are just jealous, but the 'vette still has the "Mid-life crisis machine" label on it.

Personally, if I had the opportunity, the money, and a place to store it properly, I'd buy the 'vette also.

As for your Intimidator, you'll never get the money you put into that car with all the aftermarket stuff installed. There'sa reason why thieves operate chop-shops. They know the parts are worth more than the whole car in one piece.

Take off someof the most expensivemods that you are able to re-sell.

Sell the Intimidator if you must. But I think it'll be one of the cars that you wish you had never gotten rid of.

 

Take a test drive of both the Vette and the viper. The viper has a little more seat of the pants hold on then the vette does. 7grand is the difference in price Z06 and the viper.
According to car and driver mags. the viper was a smudge quicker then the vette and that is all it takes is a second to win. I like the vette just don't care for all that exhust hanging down in the back it looks like a overgrown volkswagon from the back. My 02 like everybody we all have our own.

 

Between the Viper and Vette...lol, for real world driveability it's no contest. The Viper doesn't get MPG ratings, it gets GPM ratings
The Viper is a nice looking car, but it is way overpriced, cheap interior and god forbid you need to replace a set of those tires.
As for a street race, the slight advantage the Viper held would be lost to the Vette by the inability of most to drive it properly.
Either way, this is a fantastic decision to be making.
As for the MC, you would be much better of selling the Go Fast Goodies and selling the car closer to stock form, most people probably arent willing to pay for all the options you have.

Check the price of those run flats that are on the vette, now that will dry up a few months of pay checks, I willsay the viper interior need a little work, The price does need tweaking
Driveability that can depend who is driving and what they want in handling. Some like it some don't like wise with the vette. I am hoping for some more drag times for both with mods. I know the viper with twin turbos is in the 9's 150mph Have not seen the 08 Z06 with mods yet. I think ot is going to be close racing. Time in the fast lane will tell soon. As far MPG chrysler products always been a gas drinker.
