3.5 or 3.9?

The cars are nice but not a whole lot different than the 6th gen, i'm personally not a huge fan of the stock front end on the 7th gens

I would go the route of a 6th SS before an 06 or 07 3.5. Remember that there's is hardly any aftermarket for this engine so it limits you in that area and a little slower. Also the non dual exhaust Monte really doesn't look as sporty as an 6th gen SS.

Man... that really sucks that someone would have screwed you on the mileage like that. Do you have any legal recourse against them? I would be pretty P.O'd. Some people just have no integrity or decency I guess. Did you buy it from a dealership or a private person?

I personally like the interior of the 6th gens better, but the exterior of the 7th gens. I also like 3.8 because there is so much aftermarket stuff for them (wish I had one in my LS). But I also like the 3.9 because of the power it has, even though there's not much aftermarket stuff for it. Tough decision.

I would go with a 05 supercharged ss.not too old and its got about the same power as the 3.9 but the 05 3.8 would have more aftermarket parts you could put on it

I was looking at Amy's silver and its a beautiful car!! I happened to come across this 2006 SS for only 8,000 its all the way in Milwaukee which is a long way for me but something like this would be worth the drive!! Ive contacted the dealer and we have talked about it. It has a clean carfax report and was a trade in. I put up links to the ad on Cars.com and a link with some of the things he e-mailed to me

Better jump on that! Great deal and it is probably new enough for you to get partial financing. Way below book value. Hard to believe that cheap.

I would jump on that deal quick, put down $3,500 and put the rest in saving for a rainy day !
