Default Hybrid Conversion Kit?

Anyone ever thought about this? I mean how cool would it be to be able to install regen braking or bring electric power to rear independent wheels what would do something like power assist reducing gas consumption on the Monte Carlo SS? Just been perusing the internet for potential hybrid kits all I come up with is toyota prius lol. You may ask well why would you want to do that? Because I'm ambitious enough to try.

For the size and weight of these cars, the amount of money you would have to spend just to save money at the gas pumps would make it not worth it to me.

Just buy the Dodge dart. You get power, looks good, and is alot cheaper than a new hybrid, it also gets amazing gas mileage

Yeah I suppose the whole weight thing would be a huge damper on this. I hope one day in the near future they'll have effective conversion kits for all vehicles but i think that will need to wait for a leap in electric car tech such as battery tech plus big oil companies would probably not like that. But maybe there could be like a smaller thing that could be done not just convert it entirely into a hybrid but i don't know maybe regenerative braking system that uh... powers your alternator so your engine has one less thing it has to do. Like this sort of reminds me of back to the future. Why well Doc Brown goes into the future with the delorean in the future they upgrade old cars to make them fly. Sort of like that idea, update your currently owned cars to a more advanced system.
