I currently own an07 charger str8 superbee.we take it to shows a lot and I have people constantly asking about it and talking to me about it.I have won a trophy for it(only car there in its class but a win is a win).I must say that I agree with all th post in this thread,the main thing is to have fun and meet new people.you can also get a lot of new ideas for custom things and learn some new methods for detailing.im hoping that by next spring/summer ilhave my monty finished up so I can start showing her off a little bit.thanx for the forum guys its been a big help.

 

Yup having fun, taking lots a pics, seeing awesome and unique rides, and making new friends is what it is all about...but I gotta say when you win makes it even better I won several shows last year but nothing this year yet, I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing differently lol

 

Ive only done 2 shows so far havnt won yet, but im up against some stiff competition but its alot of fun lookin at all the cars & takin pix

I've only been in one car show and it was the Monte Madness of '04 I believe. Didn't win, had a blast though. Desk chair race trophy is what counted for me. I got runner up, but my car wasn't in the best condition for the show. I went to meet people for the most part. Having an identical 2000 Pace Car parked next to mine with 100k+ less miles than mine didn't help either.

 

Clean Clean Clean after that you have to draw attention to yourself and get out there and meet other show attendees. Don't be discourage if you don't win right away get others advice and be positive about your car, show it and yourself the wins will come.
