How to pull a new Monte Carlo out of the snow?
I happened to hit the ditch with my car, and its in there pretty good. I've pulled it out before a number of ways, but I want to know the proper way to pull it out since it seems like there's really no right place. Any help?
To not risk damage put it in neutral, hook chains to the frame and have a buddy pull you out.
PS when driving in the snow and you start to lose control let off the gas then touch the gas lightly, being a FWD it will pull you straight. And if stuck on a hill put it in second it wont spin the tires as much. Autos can do it just like manuals can.

Putting an auto in 2nd, doesn't mean it's a 2nd gear start. It just means it won't shift from 2nd to 3rd. (unless you are dangerously redlining the car, the computer will override you and allow the shift)
sounds like deer hitting me
i have always tried to use the factory transportation hook holes, if not accesiable i go for somthing that won't bend
