i that the air dam aolt of my friends live o driveways with hills and u have to go down just right or scrap what does the part actually do

That's the piece. It directs air up as you drive into the engine, without it the car gets pretty hot.

Oh yeah my 6th gen was a TANK in the snow!! not sure about 7th gen's though, shes put away for the icky snow :p

I got stuck only once and that was I had to stop to make a right on red and the right turn lane wasn't plowed - wasn't too much snow - maybe a couple of inches. I was only stuck for a minute or so - got unstuck and went on my way.

My monte will go anywhere with winter tires. Only got stuck once and that was in an unplowed driveway after we got 18" of snow overnight, lol. Seriously I drove yesterday and today in the snow with my summer tires on and didnt even remotely lose traction.
