How many did gm build???
Hello
I have been trying to find out how many 2005 Monte Carlo SS - Black - 3.8 S/C GM built and /or sold in 2005.
Some folks tell me not many and GM seems to be keeping it a secert if they know at all.
I know on some vintage cars the numbers are published.
If you can help please do so.
Thanks
Al T

Sounds like GM is giving everyone a line of bull sh1^. All they have to do is to run the VIN numbers to figure this out. I bet if they had a recall on the S-Charged model they would know EXACTLY how many they would have to repair!
That's a good point. I didn't think of that. But I suspect you're right. They always know exactly how many cars are affected by a recall. Sounds like they just can't be bothered to look it up for you.
GM publishes delivery reports every month with totals for every car they make that is delivered. Youll need to do some digging and play with a calculator to figure it out but you can find what your looking for
