Fresh engine w/turbo, upgraded transmission, exhaust, new suspension, brake upgrade, interior and paint will easily be to the North of $10K. I don't know if I'll ever reach that goal, but it's nice to dream.

I said $8-10k, and that's just projecting many years into the future. I've already dropped maybe $3k on it. That 8-10k is in addition to the money I constantly spend on my stereo upgrades. I still have to

  • drop the car
  • ws-6 hood - hoping that works out
  • cat-back exhaust
  • full repaint
  • replace all parts on the car that are old/rusting... pretty much everything.
  • supercharger when the car isn't my daily anymore
  • leather interior
  • reupholster the doors
  • replace pretty much everything in the engine bay for improved looks/performance
I probably won't get all of this done until at least my mid-thirties lol. And by then no doubt I'll have added to the list.

I should just admit I'll never be done with this car

My vote was a rough estimant, *spell check*, but i want to do some outside mods, just to make it look astetically pleasing, and some engine mods, so it will perform as if brand new. And not too much on the inside, i dont want a show car look. =] So i am guessing....4k to 8k =o
