How to fuel gauge sending unit?

Is there an accesshatch under the spare or somewhere or does the tank need to be dropped to replace the fuel gauge sending unit?

all depends on the year but usually if you pull the carpet out of your trunk near the backside of the backseat you'll see an access hole. remove the screws or w/e is holding it in place and there u go
