If it's a FWD, that demands a video!
Hell, Intense and ZZP didn't take their FWD 3800's into the 8's until a couple of months ago.

As far as "Can I get a tune in ..........?"

I don't think that there are many people on this board that do their own tuning let alone tune other peoples cars. (maybe beside bumpin96monte, maybe someone else on here I don't know about too).

Look up your local area club on clupgp.com/newforum and look around and there are people that tune near every major city.
Find some folks in your area that run these cars and ask them who to see about a tune. Make sure that they know what they are doing regarding these particular cars, and that they have some tuning experience (the more the better, look for references).
This is what I did and ended up finding a local guy that tuned my car for $75.
Cheaper than buying a canned PCM, and it was actually fun doing the tuning (well, I should say it was fun doing the driving during the tuning )

Good luck,
-Riggs.

Riggs also recommended (I believe the same guy) to me. And though I have not done it yet (getting supporting mods first) I have been talking with this guy through emails and found out easily he knows his stuff and is a great guy. So I second the notion of going to clubgp and getting a recommendation for a guy near you

whos the guy youve been talking to on clubgp? might be the same guy as who im talkin about lol the guy who did mine was Chris Kemp... and yes i have only heard of the 8 second car he sold it to his brother and his brother crashed it so i have yet to see pictures or slips but its pretty well known i guess... and driving during the tune is fun. i did mine and i took my buddies heavily modded gtp to him as well. one thing i noticed after driving that gtp is that i need my car to be faster and supercharged!!!

Chris Kemp is in Minneapolis correct?
I believe he had an 11 second 5th gen Monte, not an 8 second one.

Chichi- the guy that I recommended to you is the guy who did my tune. He's good.
He'll be doing my tune again as soon as I get a few mechanical bugs worked out on my new setup.

I've been talking to him back and forth like crazy through emails...

He's going to hook me up with installs of my ER Ratio rockers + the HV3 + the tune.

Should be a very powerful HP day

hmm... i was pretty sure it was an 8... i heard 8 i know that... there are two chris' that are pretty popular on that site and i dont think it was a 5th gen i thought it was the gen before that... the z34 kind of body style. i could be wrong tho im just going by what ive heard which i know can be wrong sometimes!

either way both chris' are really good at it. trying the tune on my car actually wiped out my pcm because mine is an 03 and it wouldnt let him get in cuz of the security... o4 and 05 are easier because they had the supercharged option.... so we had to go to south mpls and get a pcm from an 03 regal and completely redo it and put it in my car.. it was a good 6 hour day!
