I guess it looks ok, but I'm personally not a fan. I saw a Grand Prix with a tiny little stick on lund one (i think) and it looked ridiculous I wanted to do him a favor and rip it off since it was in a KMART parking lot but its not my car and I don't touch other people stuff.

If they're functional, I like them in this position. But I wouldn't use the plastice ones you got off that GP. Like others mentioned, they really look like floor grates for the furnace in your house.

What I would do, if you can find it. Punch the louvres directly into the hood like the old school hot rodders do. They use a punch specially designed for the purpose.

The only problem I see is how do you handle water that drips into the engine compartment?

 

A louver press would be sweet. Then you could put in as many and what ever size you wanted.. depending on the die.

 

I was kinda wondering the ame. If they are in that wide position then it will be right over top the main relay panel on the passenger side

X2^^ What he said Punching them in and custom fabbing a drip tray would be sweet. I like the look of them as is but being punched into the hood would look even better. Either way I think it has potential

 

i think it would look original but it is your dissision to do and it is your ride. it will look different and original

 

As long as they are functional and not stuck on with two sided tape....go for it. Maybe paint them a flat black or the body color so they don't scream out to you. As for your poll, I can't say yes or no so wash your car.
