Default Hood idea?

hey guys... heres my hood idea. My names Mike, so, this should make SOME sense.

I was at a sports bar and looked up, on their ceiling is a monte carlo racing hood thats back in color and says "Mikes Hard Lemonade" on it in the yellow emblem. now, do you think it would look horrible if I could find one of those and drop on my car, but instead, have the yellow matched to red to match my car (and maybe add some more red to it so its not a practically black hood on a red car with red text?

i know the hoods you're talking about..... they won't fit. i used to have one in my room for Jeremy Mayfields Mountain Dew and a Jeff Gordon Pepsi hood. they are made by somebody for places like bars and such... if you look around most bars they have Budweiser, Miller, and all the alchohol sponsored cars hoods. now, if you get up close, you will see taht it is actually about hlaf the size of a regular hood, and weigh about 5-10 lbs tops. they have two holes on each side to put them up on a wall. now, if you want to paint your hood like that, i don't know how it would look. personally, i wouldn't do anythingl ike that unless i went all teh way and made it look like the Mike's Hard Lemonade car.

another thing.. if you could find the real hood off the real car... it wouldn't fit. those NASCAR's have quite different designs... their similar, but not so similar that the parts will fit the street cars. nascar quit requiring the nascar to make a hood and roof and all fit a regular car years ago. and i saw this busch race one time where the logo on the car just blew off. the car is really painted a single color, the Mike's Hard Lemonade thing is nothing more than a decal. Just see if you can have the Mike's Hard Lemonade decal made for your car. The one think that will mess that up is in the cneter of your hood theres that ripple.

Sounds like to make this work on your hood, any decal would almost have to be two pieces so you could takethe center of the hood in to account.

I do have to agree that if you go with the decal on the hood you'd soon learn you need to add more decals to make the car look even.
