the best kits out there are made by philips and mcculoch. i have side by side test on my car. since the fogs are the same as the headlights i bought a cheap kit from ebay and my mcculochs. so i got one brand on one side and the mcculochs on the other. the mcculochs light much better, they are digital, the bulbs are brighter, and the ballast was smaller. the cheap kit the color is not as defined, they dont start immediatly like the mcculochs, and sometimes one wont turn on for a minute or two.

WOW those are expensive. I think I'd try some cheaper ones first and see how they work out for me. I actually found a kit on Amazon that I'm considering. They seem to cost a lot more from other retailers online.

rikensport hids can be found on ebay. have them installed on my car and they have been running good since the day i put them in. install took about 1 hour, on because it was snowing and i did it in a non heated garage(it seemed like forever because my hands were freezing). if someone did it when it was atleast decent outside, it could take no more than 30 mins. cost i believe was 115 shipped and 1 year warranty. with a 30 day money back guarantee. heres a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories

First off the color and temp identification varies from company to company... Good example would be mine are listed as 15ks but they are a deep blue... When they boot up they start purple but after a second or so they change to blue. Also mcolough is the best brand.. Hids are really big in my area and that brand seems to last.. I have the hids i my lows and luminics blues in the highs.. I never use my highs and the blue tinted bulb looks really good in the daylight. especially since the highs dont have the cup over it. the luminic set was 40 bucks but my hids were 200 (installed).
