I don't know if there legal or not but they look damn good, lol. Yeah I'll get a night shot video asap. They blue lights I just had lying around and put them in, they look pretty badass at night. It's a company I found on the internet, it's Jontintedtails.com. They paint them and clearcoat over them so they are just as good as your paint on your car, they do look sweet and they are pretty dark. With the tinted window's they are going on next. I think it will tie them in even better. Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

 

So you removed and shipped your taillights to them? Or you bought an extra set and had these done?

For something different you could install amber bulbs in the back up lights. Which are legal.

I put amber bulbs in the back up lights of both of my Dodge Shadow ESs. I like them.

A lot of '57 Chevy owners paid the $25 or so to purchase amber grille bar lenses for their cars. I paid $2.50 at Wal-Mart for a pair of amber bulbs and put them in the grille bar of one of my '57s. Okay maybe mine don't look amber when not in use but I can live with it.

 

Sometimes if your lucky, he will have certain ones in his inventory. Just luckly he did. So I just bought them. I couldn't go without my car for a week or so.

 

Nice, just how dark did you go? I'm looking at his site right now and I see that he as different levels of darkness.

 

That is Med-Dark. As you can see they are very dark. When I talked to him he said for everyday driving the Dark won't give off enough light. So I went for Med-Dark and very glade I did. They look awsome at night, I'll get some pics. He does quility work, they changed the look of my car that is for sure.

 

Okay sweet, I was looking at his gallery and was thinking that they Med/Dark tints looked the best. I might have to show my mom this site so she stops asking me about what I want for Christmas.

I just went and got some lunch and as I was walking out there was 2 cops standing and had there car parked behind mine. I was thinking here we go, what did I do. So I had hi, being nice and started getting into my car and they said nice car what year is it. So I told him and the one started talkin about all the Monte's he had in his life. His personal car is a 06 SS, with magnaflow catback and it's white. Then he asked me about my taillights and where I got them. He said he wants some, lol. I never asked if they where legal or not. Then when I started it he say's it sound nice. I said thanks and went on my way. Talk about being scared ****less at first.

 

Lol, I'm the same way if I see cops around my car, 'cause I know my tint is past the limit. And that my 3rd brake light cover probably isn't legal according to some cops. And if it's night I can get crap for my underglow. Usually I don't get bothered much, so far it's only been for speeding and the underglow. It'll be interesting if I ever get those lights tinted, see if I get anymore attention.
