Question Help Please**Monte fuel pump issue**

hey guys i am new to the forum i havent even introduced myself yet lol my name is stan and i have a question that i hope someone has an answer to........will a fuel pump from a 2005 fit my 2001 monte carlo, i think my fuel level sensor is screwed on my monte's pump but i have a fuel pump for the grand prix sitting around, someone PLEASE help!!!!!!

Is your Monte a 3.8L ?

ya they are 2 different pumps part number and in size, has anyone had an issue with the float arm and have taken it apart and tightened it so it worked again
