JEEZ, so much hate for a beautiful car. I was just simply giving him an option of a brand new car that fits his criteria and would benefit from a brand new warranty.

certified used would still give him a warranty. id rather have a almost new used car that can back the looks up than a brand new pretender. i know people will say its 312hp or whatever they are, but they make no torque and are way heavy. the L99s are pretty good and the op can probably get one with 20,000 miles on it in his price range.

Fits all of your criteria

If you get the base model LS (although you need an auto), they can be had for around $21k
Have you driven a new Camaro? I have to duck because my head hits the roof. Not to mention there is no visibility at all.

Top 2 on my list right now are the G8 GT and Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Does anyone have any experience with either? I have done some work on G8s and they fit me well and meet my criteria.

Yes I have. I'm not a tall guy, I only come in at 5'8 so I have no problems with fitting in any car on the market today haha.

The visibility didn't bother me. Once the mirrors were adjusted, I was fine.

i like the new comaro the v6 type more in a way do to suprisingly amount of performance part line ups for it. i just wish that i had a chance to get one if i only had the money to do it right now i have a cpayment. i have seen lists of pages for the v6 comaro v6 and = out to same or a little more hp than the stock ss type. plus after the hook ups to the motor it is very quick i ridden in my coworkers v6 comaro that he almost did every thing to it ended up being verrry quick and i ended up suprisingly wanting one.

sounds like youve made a choice then. doesnt the genesis have a timing belt? if so isnt it out?

power isnt the only difference between an ss car and a v6 car, and why would anyone want to throw another 6k or so into a v6 camaro to match the hp of a ss? lets not forget the labor and the lack of suspension work, exhaust and whatever else. might as well call it 10k to make it just as good as a ss. which puts the v6 at the price of an ss only difference is the ss would still have a warranty, and be factory built while the v6s warranty would be voided . this is a classic example of people buying a base model car and throwing a bunch of money at it to try and make it something its not. if i were to buy a car and wanted it to be fast i would start with the fastest factory version and work from there, not the slowest.

ahh. ive heard bad things about the v6 with the stick, but that obviously wouldnt affect you since you need an auto anyway. the v6 genesis is nice but pretty pricey theyre in 1SS territory. g8 gt or used ss might be the best way to go. unless you get lucky and find the genesis coupe used for a good price. my gf couldnt find one, but we wanted one that only had 20000 miles or so on it optioned out with a stick.
