i am looking into some new struts for my monte. it feels like it is not really as smooth riding like it was so i am looking into for some new struts and may be some new srpings. i just want to double check on this is the 7th gen considered a w-body do to it still looks like the 6th gen behind the front fenders also some intereor things. or do i go and look for some thing ok and not up to what i like to get like the kyb's. some thing like that i have seen some monroe the really cheap ones what i mean 20 dallars for one cheap which i dont want. that i would like is a good strut set up i know i have a f2 setup it is that wiered type not the better type ef4 some thing like that suspention set up. i ordered the strut braces and the brackets for it to help with body roll also to help the sway bars to help them out to make it sound. but when i have two people in my monte the car bottoms out when hitting a small bump. sorry for the long read also do they make a tubular lower controll arms for the 7th gen like the 6th gen? is it on the w-body store? sorry for the long read

 

i am asking for more of a double checking befor ordering suspention peaces just to find out they dont work.it is a good rule of thumb for me just to double check before getting some thing

 

Yes, your Monte is considered a W-Body. I just looked up replacement struts and springs for both my '03 and an '07. It shows the same part number for both vehicles so I assume the parts are the same. The listings showed the parts being the same from '00 through '07.

 

thanks i just wanted to double check because you know as well as i do go to one place they say only this will work. but go to anouther parts place they have a longer parts list for the same thing so thank you.

i am thinking on getting the kyb gr-2 for it quick question about the agx 4 type they can be set for fermer? just want to ask about that type but getting ready to get the kyb gr2 type
