Default Got Rear Ended Today

A car was waiting for traffic to turn into a parking lot, and I stopped behind it, and the car behind me didn't. It was an '03 Escape and had minimal damage other than a busted headlight bulb. My monte suffered some crinkled edges around my license plate, and the license plate itself was dented also, I got some scuffs around on the bumper also.. nothing else was broken, and no one was hurt, I was a little late to work though, lol.

I'm sorry to hear about this Brendan! As always, we can reflect on the fact that no one was hurt, and it's good to see you appreciate that already. What's the strategy going forward now?

Waiting until August 7 to get an estimate.. depending on what happens and how I will be paid, I might get an aftermarket bumper, if they want me to take it to a shop though, I'll probably be stuck with an OEM bumper, lol. I definitely want a new bumper though.. it doesn't look that bad to other people, but the stuff around the license plate can't be fixed. it got mashed in by the front bumper of the escape.

If I get an aftermarket, I'll probably get the Xenon even though I like the Razzi, because the Xenon will go better with the original body, and yet still look better.. Plus I can't just buy a Razzi rear bumper.

Brendon glad you are ok. Our Montes can be fixed our bodies take longer to heal. Good luck on your Monte's repair hope it comes out like you want.

Hi `Brendan, great to read that you (everyone) is OK.
Vehicles are easier to repair then humans 4-Sure.

I hope that you have a good body shop to get estimates. Many times all the damage can not be seen & make sure that he checks under the bumper for damage.

Wish you better luck & a good repair...Keep us updated.
