Why is everyone so 'obsessed' with only the SS model. The LT3 and LTZ are both fine trims as well as the LS....the SS just isn't for everyone.

I think, as a collectible, the SS is the only V-8 FWD Chevy every made.

(Of course Cadillac made dozens of V-8 FWD's.)

It is also the best horsepower per pound ratio of any FWD car ever made.

An any Monte Carlo is going to hold value, it may be the 06/07 SS.

While ls and the lt are nice, theres just something about the ss that catches the eye. V8 303 HP Is one of

the major way points. Usully if you have an SS you tend to stick with the SS no matter what price. I

think i found a buyer so hopefully within the week i will have my new DREAM COME TRUE!

I like the SS.... Just did not want to pay for the extras that I got in my LTZ.....
I paid 4 grand less for my LTZ (which its fully loaded) then I would have to upgrade an SS to make it as
good as an LTZ

I DROVE an SS before buying my LTZ and honestly I didn't think it had that much power for the sacrifice in fuel economy as well as the nearly 5-6K premium over my LTZ. Sorry it just isn't all that to me.

First thingU have 2 do `James in an SS is
push the gas pedal all the way to the floor : )
(that's how U feel the Power : )
James, we are so happy that GM Chevrolet had the insight to
produce, so many different model's for consumer's like you
to choose from. LS, LT, LT3, LTZ & SS.
GM attempted to cater to every drivers needs/wants & desires.
They didn't create the Monte Carlo SS for you : )
We are still waiting for you to post pic's of your Awesome White LTZ.
James, I do agree, the 3.9 LTZ is a beautiful car with great balanced power.
EnJoy....Peace
