I just need the check from insurance and I can start looking at cars in person, I've found a cobalt I'm very interested in, still no luck with GTPs

Great suggestions but the car I get ultimately has to have my parents approval and with my location they have shot down all RWD cars

SRT-4 Neon, 04-05 same hp as a turbo Cobalt if not more & there fairly cheap

Of the two, I think the supercharged Cobalt is better. You're young, why not get a lighter, sporty car? Manual trans, better handling and performance and fuel economy. What's not to like?
