Good Deal!!??!

When I ordered my car, the sunroof was a stand alone option. So I guess most dealers who order the higher optioned Montes check off the sunroof as an option.

I know the area that the car is in, and I could easily see the miles being that high, there's a lot of commuting in that area, and it's mostly really open and nice highways.
As long as the car wasn't abused I don't see the mileage being that much of an issue.
Basically a 4-year old car / 87000 miles would be only 21,750 miles per year... very easy to do in that area. My car rolled 150K in only 6 years which is more miles per year than that. Now that I moved it to Philly it's much less miles per year.

If you like the car and it seems to be decent then buy it. I wouldn't give them the asking price. I do know that.
I looked at a few '00-05 Montes with no sunroof. They were all the lesser models versus the SS.
For 2006 the sunroof can standard in the LTZ. So my car has one. As does the '03 Pace car.

06-07 could be ordered without the sun roof. and highway miles or not i wouldnt want any part of it with that many miles. at least with that price. the powertrain warranty doesnt have much left on it, and considering these things are known for tranny failures i wouldnt want to invest in a car thats warranty is only going to have a year and a half or so of average driving left on it. all monte SSs look the same. if you cant get a slamming deal on it i would hold out and wait for something better to come along. just my opinion.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just noticed this thread.
The mileage is not so high that it should be the dealbreaker. I've had cars with more miles than that, and they kept on running fine. Of course, that's because we took great care of the cars -- and didn't abuse them in any way.
However, if a sun roof is a biggie for any buyer -- my view is: don't buy it without one. Too many problems with late-adds when it comes to sun roofs.
