no it was originally an SS. Look at the guage cluster. It has an SS cluster in there, also the fog lights and interior switch for them are all factory, so I would say it was originally an SS.

Only 04 and 05's could get the L67 in them so this must be an engine swap. I can't see it being just a top swap. All they did was get a cluster to match... probably a totaled donor car.
