5 restarts exactly and it went away. Praying it is a gas cap.

Just sucks because I've put gas in this thing hundreds of time already.

The last GM car I owned was a 97 Aurora, which had factory warranty remaining plus an extended warranty I purchased. As soon as the factory warranty expired at 4-years from the in-service date, things started going wrong, of course. In 1-year, the extended warranty picked up the tab for about $3,500 in repairs! There was one minor electrical problem that guys at the dealership never could figure out. They eventually got somecorporate techs involved; however, they also failed to come up with a fix.Everyone involved was quite perplexed.

I was gonna say if you have Onstar try that out, they can do they're little 'analysis' Actually I just got the little email report thing... kinda freaked me out because I was just wondering out loud the other morning how everything was.... lol... Like I wanna inspect my engine mount bolts, to make sure they've stayed tight since I did the flip.

(I think they're listening, need Space to scan my car fer bugs)

GM probably did the gas cap thing just to get you to take it back in. Obviously if the car's still running it's nothing super serious. and if it was something super serious then you'd just utilize the 100k b2b warranty, right?

Good advice and the same info I was going to post.

I get the monthly (when they feel like sending one) Onstar emails too.

Don't subscribe to the service, but the 911 may come in handy some day.

I personally don't care for it myself. My car did come with it for one year but I just never used it.

Although I rarely use it I did re-new my subscription for 1 full year.

I figure the one time I use the service (say out on the road) it will be worth the re-new price.

I was suppose to get XM with my car for a few months but never did.
