I like how the fix is just for new clips for the spark plug wires and not for actualy fixing the problem.

Sorry, folks...I tried a search for existing threads as well, just slipped me. My attention was called to the CNN article by a co-worker this morning asking me what year my Monte was. I would think that since the Series II is pretty much unchanged from 03 - 05, would it not still apply to 04/05 model years? Guess i will have to consult the dealership.

Hi `Matt,
I am sure that `if you check with ZZP that they will
be updated on the problem. And `if they are not
at present...I am sure they will `be.

I am hoping that one of our member's, or tech's
will take pictures of problem (clips) & post for everyone
to see.
p.s. Really like your new `sig by Enzo `Brock

just got a phone call fron my chevy dealer.he has to order the clips for the recall and that this recall came out before they were even notifed.and to drive like i have been.thair was never a report of a actual fire due to this recall.what they are doing is just replacing the clips.they have been swamped with phone calls all day.and they will have to order the clips for you.have your vin# ready to give them.
good luck

I was wondering if someone else was going to catch that. They fix where the oil leak is going but not the oil leak itself.
