Default GM (Government Motors)

Now that Obama is the new CEO of GM, not only do I feel like a communist driving some government made pos, I'm thinking about the red tape they are going to create on the extended warranty.

I only have 30K left and I think I am going to need major work. Either a CV on the front left or a transmission issue.

I also have that damned steering ISS crap happening for the hundredth time.

My left mirror motor died and my trunk motor died and we have no key holes on our year.

Just some thoughts.

I need to get a quote tomorrow for a replacement. I remember it costing $200 for my Cadillac but it was a lot larger and more heavy duty.

My beef is that they should have put a cheap plastic protective housing around it just in case something in the trunk shifts and bangs into it.

definitely. well i hope to hear how you make out with this issue. i honestly didn't even realize till about a week after i bought the car that there was no keyhole on the trunk. i wondered for a while if i was just missing it somewhere. i like the clean look without the keyhole, but it obviously causes problems. good luck tomorrow!!

I had my ISS replaced 3 weeks ago, and the clunking is back already. I have 35,960 on the car and I just purchased a 36month 24,000 mile GMPP Warranty. Now under CEO Obama, that might just be good for toilet paper.

I honestly think I have a key hole on my trunk but that does suck. I guess ucould go in from the back seat and use the emergency trunk latch to open it lol. Sucks when things break though

Member Greeny, Sorry 2 read that you have had some
issues/prob's with your Monte.
You may want to get `Obama on a `Roll 2 keep in your `Monte

I support our President, & his Obama-nator team,
& I am thankful that we live in a country that we
can post a `joke or humor about our leaders
w/o being put in `jail or eliminated, but the ObamaNators.

*GP`Dave, Good Luck on getting your prob's resolved.

That's a motor? I thought it was just a switch to a release.

A. With Uncle Obama in control ALL GM vehicles will now be worth ZIP! Including the older Classics & Collector cars.
B. ANY...... time the government get's their mits in to something, they screw it up. No exceptions.
C. Is there room in Canada for a guy who owns 8 Chevies?

I hope this link works for everyone. Yes it's a Furd TV commercial.
If GM had taken some ques from Furd they wouldn't need a bail out. Neither would Mopar.

PS. The extended warranty I paid $1700 for is now worth Obama paper.

Yes, it is an electric motor that spins when you activate it and pulls back the latch.
