A car with 200,000 miles can't possibly still be "like new", but the car looks to be in good condition. The price is fair. I would expect $4800-$5000 from a buyer...

Yes, like new is a deceptive word that is used to much.

It does look great in the pictures & it's been in the same family + a Car Fax... It doesn't look like it has any mod's ?

I know that I would rather have a 200K mile ride that had highway miles, vs one that had 100K miles of city stop & go traffic like Orlando or Miami (or New York City : )...

I just try to keep up with the Monte resale market & I thought I would share this one with our member's...

Agreed. Like you, I am always keeping up with 06-07 Monte prices. This one has the highest miles I've seen, so in turn it should have the lowest sell price...

KBB & Black Book are just a guide line to me. I enjoy keeping up with the car market on the vehicles that I dream about.

Plus I spend a lot of time praying for my lotto #'s to hit (lol)
I get one ticket a week (most times)...LOL

It was in a minor accident just 3 months ago...are those pictures before or after the accident? Value just went down to $4500 tops in my book. Still a great deal for a 2006 Monte SS with a LS4

 

Great find `Silver It does pay to do your homework before you buy 4-Sure. ( I love the resources that the web offer's, but one has to search to find) + have a good mechanic (if U are not one) to check your vehicle out b-4 you buy.

I agree that it's still a good/fair price. One minor accident in 200K miles isn't to bad...It would pay to check the accident report & really check out the car. I'd also ask about the transmission (when it was installed, by who ? & about the warranty)... I also noticed that he would trade for a muscle type car (Is the owner(s) hot rod driver's like `us
