My 04 LS didn't come through with Fog Lights. I thought that the "Louvers" in the spaces for the Fog Lights looked awful; so I started a campaign to find Fog Lights that would fit.
After looking at a couple of hack-jobs that some guys did to mount aftermarket Fog Lights; I was convinced that OEM was the way to go. I searched "car.parts.com" and got a Boneyard to sell me stock Fogs at a very reasonable price. They MOUNTED easily enough because the behind-the-bumper locating tabs were in place. What was NOT in place were the Pigtails and Plug-in's for the Fog Lights.
IF you have a Monte pre-wired for Fog Lights you'll just have to mount them and they'll work. If not, you can't adapt the wiring because the Body Control Module would need to be programmed.
I'm going OFF the wiring harness and wiring-up my own OFF BCM - switched and relayed wiring to get the Fog Lights to come on. The hardest part is getting the Plug-in's for the OEM Fog Lights and finding a path through the Firewall for the wiring to the Remote Switch placement.
I have a handle on what I need to do, have the stuff and all the fittings ... just waiting for a break on the weather to do the wiring and keep the power to the Fog Lights OFF the Body Control Module.
