Hi new to the site so not sure yet if this is already a topic but i have a monte carlo ss 2002 and trying to use the radio to get to the fob programming, I do all the steps right but i get stuck when i see settings on the display screen, for example once you see settings i can not switch between other options using seek, does anyone know why this would happen.... as far as i know its all stock and the seek does work when listening to the radio but not when in the menu.

 

Have you tried the next trak, prev trak buttons instead?

 

I tried everything if i hit the display button once more the only option is i think light dimmer if i read that right... but again once i see settings i tried every single button including the wheel controls

 

I recall helping a fellow with an Impala remote once I think it was an 04 or 05 and we had this same problem, then instead of the buttons he tried the dial and something happened and it worked out. Might not be the same thing but just trying to help.
