I am getting my 44's today installed on the LTZ.

They are saying that they are much louder than the 40's.

The tips are free....they came from a grand prix. I only put em on since it is winter and did not want to put on my expensive chrome tips and have them ruined.

 

They want an extra $100 for tips. I think I will pass for now.

They are trying to snow me that they need to weld the tips now or it won't be as easy later.

Welding is welding and good welders can get away with anything. I really like your tips.

 

Duals do look better that is for sure. Not a big fan of you tips,I like round ones better, but yours don't look bad. Hey SolaraSlayer, I bought my tips on ebay for like $50, double wall, 3.5", slight slash and stainless steel and love them. Are they on crack? You don't need to put them on now. How hard is it tocut off the exhaust pipe behind the mufflers and weld in tips. I've gotten tips later before on my Firebird. Also Solara how those 44's sound? I'd like to know might have to update the LTZ with 44's in the summer. If they are a lot louder there going to be loud, my Delta Flow 40's are pretty loud.
