Default 3.9 with Flowmasters

Soon...
This is the e-mail I got form someone on YouTube:

"hey wats up man, i own a 06 LT3, I currently have it fully stock with the exception of 20% window tint. lol for some odd reason i never saw a gain in HP. lol But i juss bought 2 flowmaster 40 series!! and im puttin them on tom, and i also ordered a K&N air filter which will be on shortly, so after its all done im gonna put video clips so u can see it and see if u like it."

I e-mailed him back and told him I couldnt wait. So lets cross our fingers he gets it done.

I Sure did invite him!!!! lol.,..
heres what he wrote:
"LOL YO!!! I got em put on yesterday and they sound sick! It gives it kinda this mean throaty sound. alsmot like the mustang GT but ALOT cleaner, there is very minimal resonance inside the car, the car idles like a dream but when i slam on the gas it roars! plus im sure u notice ur stock intake whistles pretty loud, so to the untrained ear it sounds like ur car is supercharged with the flows, i also juss installed an K&N air filter and also i bought 2 carbon fiber chrome tip resonators for the exhaust tips, but its nice man...Ill try to get the clip today for you but my cell takes really bad videos and it will not do it justice, ill see wat i can do though."

So well see. Im dyin to hear it. If its good im goin to the exhaust place next week.

I've checked in town the other day and the guy told me to expect 250-280 for my 2.5 tubing with only the cat left alone and new flowmasters, depending on if I go with one or two mufflers, I'm thinking of going with the two. The shop was busy so I've got an appoitment made for Monday so that they can get the car up on the lift and they can get me a better estimate. Can't wait to get them on. I'm gald to hear that someone else has already done this to a 3.9l, I was begining to think that maybe I was mistaken in wanting to do this.
