I said this before, but I have flat black vinyl stripes on my Mustang, and they are SUPER difficult to keep clean... i'm always removing fingerprints from them. i never use an actual wax, just a spray on wax to clean them... I like the flat black look for striping... looks very nice!

I've always liked flat black on some cars and never gave it much thought for a gen 6 monte. I did my '87 dodge dakota in fb and I found the more items that I shaved off the better it looked and cleaner, especially shiny non-chromed pieces. This is just my opinion but loose the spoiler, do the mirrors, and sandblast finish the taillights. Doing the tails won't reduce light output much if any.
