I would have sworn I'd changed it at least once before but after removing the old filter, I realized I hadn't. The procedure wasn't familiar and the old (original ) filter had AC Delco stamped on it.

Still on the original fuel pump.

 

LOL I guess Im not the only one then. I changed mine at somewhere near the 250k for the first time only cause the connections were rusted on. Original fuel pump here too but my Monte does have about triple the milage you have. I didn't notice any difference in mpg or performance though
