Finally!!!
So, a month and a half later, I FINALLY received my check from the insurance company for the damage to my Monte Carlo. I got $1094.25 since that is what the body shop quoted. As soon as the check clears, I'm going to get the replacement parts. Not gonna have a body shop do it so I'll have a little cash left over, which will either be used for Christmas presents OR (what I really want to do) the final parts I want to get to finish the Grand Prix's engine.

Just a couple things to finish it off. I already had the LG4 305 rebuilt. Some necessities are a new water pump, new fuel pump and pushrod, and a new harmonic balancer. I don't want to reuse the ones that are currently on the Grand Prix's bad 305 just because I don't want to have to deal with replacing them after I get the new engine in. I'd like to get a serpentine belt system and an Edelbrock Performer intake as well, but that depends on the funds I have left after fixing the Monte.

Glad you finally received that settlement, Dustin.
Sucks that it too so dang long, though.
