Good race. Only half a car length. Very short track though.

Sorry about the waiting period. Everybody has to go through it unfortunately. It was decision none of us enjoyed making. But was necessary.

I drive my truck the most of all and the Impala is a sick car no modifications and it tops out at 135 hahaha but when I dint have my truck I drove the Monte the Impala isnt BIG enough for my likeing

 

Wow, you've gotten your Impala to 135 MPH? You don't have a speed limiter on that thing?

 

well there wasnt one on it at first to be honest hahaha the onstar gps tracks the speed and they put one on it the last time i put it in the shop for a tune up haha

 

That doesn't sound right. The PCM will have a set speed that it will allow you to go up to and then it will retard your timing and cut fuel so that you don't go over that. When my Monte was stock the limiter was at 107mph, but that's gone now. I still haven't gone over that yet, but I know I will the next time I get to a drag strip

woah....i took my 07 ss to 140 and i have onstar...no limiter set yet....how interesting.....I can see an ominous future of limited speed according to where you drive...

WOW, my car, along with the Impala's i've rented all had speed limiters from the factory set to 107 MPH...
