Extreme Cold and Frozen Washer Fluid..
Have any of you guys had your Windshield washer fluid freeze on you? If so, can it damage the pump and/or plastic reservoir? In ~20 to 25 degree weather, last night I tried to run the washers and nothing came out. The wipers still came on, and according to the manual, the wipers and washer pump share the same fuse.. I thought I had the winter formula in there but I guess I didn't..
The reservoir is full also.

Is the fluid in the reservoir frozen? Common for the spray-tip to freeze shut, but not common for the actual reservoir fluid to freeze. Unless you're using water instead of commercial washer fluid... If fluid in the reservoir or lines completely froze, they could crack. If not, you should be OK. You may have to wait for things to thaw to know for sure.
I've lived / driven in sub-freezing areas for years and never had a problem caused by fluid freezing. You just can't use the washers in freezing temp's.

From what I could tell, the lines and the pump froze up. In addition to some winter fluid (good until 20F) and a hair dryer, I got it going again. The fluid in the tank partially froze, but it defrosted when I put the winter stuff in. The pump must always have a little bit of fluid in it for it to stop working like that (when it dropped below 32F).
