keeping washer fluid tank
#2
You can do a CAI and still have a washer fluid container. However, if you keep the stock washer fluid container, then you will have to relocate the battery. If you don't want to relocate the battery, then you will have to remove the container. If you remove the container you do have options.
1) Go without the washer fluid container. I've been this way for 4+ years, almost no problems.
2) Find a washer fluid container from an early to mid 90's Olds Cutlass at a junkyard.
3) Go to a parts store and look for some kind of washer bottle kit.
If you need some kind of an idea on how an Olds Cutlass container looks, check out this link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/473859...e-carlo/page-6

Im using a washer bottle out of a 90 chevy astro van.
Since the 95-97 Z34s only use 1 upper engine mount, there are unused holes where the passenger side mount would bolt to the rad support. I bent a thick piece of sheet metal to use as a washer bottle bracket. I drilled 4 holes, two for the bottle to bolt to it and two for it to bolt to the rad support. Use the holes on the front of the rad support, not the top. Take out your filler panel above the bumper cover and then bolt in the new bottle. You will have to lengthen the wiring and the hose going to the new pump, but thats not difficult. Once the bottle is bolted in, you can put your filler panel back it. I cut a hole in the panel so you can get to the lid of the bottle. It sits down in there nice and you barely notice its there.

Thanks. I think its the easiest, cleanest way to relocate the bottle. I kept my battery up front and just turned it 90*. I made a small aluminum bracket to hold the battery in place. It wasnt really necessary because the battery doesnt really have room to move, but I still recommend securing the battery somehow .
